1st day: Istanbul

Arrive Istanbul. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

2nd day: Istanbul / Trabzon

After breakfast transfer to the airport for the flight to Trabzon. Arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Lunch. Then visit of Museum St. Sophia, Yeni Cuma and Ortahisar Mosque. Dinner and overnight.

3rd day: Trabzon

After breakfast full-day visit of Sumela Monastery, set in a sheer rock face. Picnic lunch. Return to Trabzon. Dinner and overnight.

4th day: Trabzon / Erzurum

After breakfast depart for Erzurum via Gumushane. Crossing the Zigana (2024 m.) and Kop (2390 m.) passes. Lunch in Bayburt. Arrival. Dinner and overnight at Erzurum.

5th day: Erzurum / Kars

Breakfast. Then city tour: The Medrese with two minarets, Yakutiye Medrese and Erzurum Castle. After lunch, depart for Kars via Horasan. Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

6th day: Kars / Agri

After breakfast visit to Ani, near the Turkish-Russian frontier. After visiting the Ani Cathedral, the Church of Holy Apostles and the Church of St. Gregory depart for Agri, via Dogubeyazit. Lunch en route. Visit the Palace of Ishakpasa. Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

7th day: Agri / Van

After breakfast depart for Van. Lunch at Van. Diner and overnight.

8th day: Erzurum / Kars

After breakfast, full-day visit of the Island of Akdamar in Lake Van, the Church of the Holy Cross and Castle of Van. Lunch. Dinner and overnight.

9th day: Van / Diyarbakir

After breakfast, depart for Diyarbakir via Tatvan and Bitlis. Lunch at Bitlis. Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

10th day: Diyarbakir / Malatya

Following an early breakfast depart for Nemrut Mountain (2150 m.). After the lunch at the mountain, continue for Malatya. Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

11th day: Malatya / Kayseri

After breakfast drive to Kayseri. Lunch on the way. Following an early breakfast depart for Nemrut Mountain (2150 m.). Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

12th day: Kayseri / Cappadocia

After breakfast depart for Cappadocia. Arrival. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch, visit of Goreme Valley. Dinner and overnight.

13th day: Cappadocia

Breakfast. Then full-day visit of subterranean cities of Derinkuyu and Kaymakli.

14th day: Cappadocia / Ankara

Following an early breakfast depart for Ankara. Lunch in Ankara. Then visit of the Ataturk Memorial and Hittite Museum. Dinner and overnight.

15th day: Ankara / Istanbul

After breakfast, depart for Istanbul. Arrival. Dinner and overnight.

16th day: Istanbul

After breakfast, city-tour Mondial style. Hippodrome, Constantin Column, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Topkapi Palace. Lunch in one of the selected restaurants along the coast of the Marmara Sea. The day will be concluded by a visit to the Grand Bazaar and to the other shopping centres. Dinner and overnight.

17th day: Departure from Istanbul

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and assistance for departure.
